Solle House

This is a small stone terraced house, topped with a tiled, gabled roof and extended by a garden. Dark and dilapidated, the inside has been hollowed out in order to make use of the space under the incline. The side facing the garden is entirely open in order to allow light to enter. A unit/wall positioned on a diagonal leads the eye from the entrance towards the garden, and contains all the storage required by the house. As a porous border, this unit defines the small private areas and the high-ceilinged living room.
